Nautilus

A 68” x 45” wall hanging made with a dozen types of wood from Fir to Ebony, Lacewood, Purple Heart, Koa, Wenge, Mahogany, Curly Maple, Korina, Walnut, Padauk, Poplar. Each wedge is three degrees with a total of 120 pieces. I sanded each piece individually and then joined them together to make a design inspired by the golden ratio.
